Madison Career Week
This year, as part of our school improvement plan, we have been focusing on goals that fall under the area of relevancy. In an effort to expose students to a variety of career professions and see how these professions use reading, writing, and math in their everyday lives, we are looking for family members to visit our classrooms to share about your job or career during the week of May 13-16. We are hoping for a wide variety of professions that can be shared with our bears so ALL jobs and careers are welcome.
Please click on the sign-up sheet that matches your child's classroom teacher to select a time to come speak with our class - sign up sheet.
STEAM and Career Night
Mark your calendars
K-4 Field Day will occur on Friday, May 17 (Early Childhood Field Day will be on Monday, May 20). More specific information will come at a later date.
Kindergarten Graduation will occur on Thursday, May 23 at 8:45 am. Kindergarten graduation will occur in the gym. We encourage our families to arrive 15 minutes prior to graduation.
Fourth-Grade Walk will occur on Friday, May 24 at 11:15 am. The 4th-grade Walk Process will begin at 11:15 (this is a change due to the length of the video) in the gym for 4th-graders and their families. We encourage all of our guests to arrive at Madison starting at 11:00.
The 4th grader choir will sing a few songs and then we will watch a video highlighting the fourth-graders time at Madison. At the conclusion of the video, the 4th-graders will walk through the primary pod, through the intermediate pod, and back into the gym where they will meet their families.
We will then send our 4th-graders off to summer and to middle school!
