#AESStayingConnected
April 20-24
Hello Alward Families!
- Your mental health is the number one priority right now as is your child/drens. Somedays may go smoothly with virtual learning and other days, you may be ready to throw in the towel before the day even begins. This is okay! If things are not going smoothly, it is best to disconnect from the technology and support one another's needs. The activities will still be there tomorrow for you to try again.
- Some families are wanting more work, some feel that what is being provided is perfect, and some are feeling overwhelmed. All of these feelings are okay to have. Our job right now is to provide all of our families and students with opportunities to access curriculum and participate in learning while doing our best to meet your needs. Do not worry if you think your child is going to fall behind because when the 20-21 school year rolls around, we will support all of our students where they are at academically, socially, and emotionally and grow together from there.
- Any learning opportunity that your child participates in is a win! Let them explore their interest areas, play games, and read for fun! Enjoy this time with them as much as you can.
Wishing that you are all staying healthy and were able to enjoy the sunshine this weekend!
Take great care,
Mrs. McClure
