The Monarch Pride
October 2020-"Together Is Better"
We have been off to a very unique, yet busy start of the 2020 school year! We began with all students receiving virtual instruction and on September 14th moved into a hybrid model (one day per week) for students who have requested to return to school. Other students have chosen to remain virtual. The faculty and staff members are all eagerly awaiting the return of our Monarchs to MHS in a safe and productive environment, hopefully very soon..
While we are maneuvering into our "new normal" we have encountered many bumps and have not done everything correctly; however, we are committed to working on doing what is in the best interests of each of our students and families. Teachers are working with students and parents through each and every situation to serve students' needs. Please continue to work with us and seek our assistance as we strive to get each student to "24 in 4" (24 credits in 4 years) to help each student to meet his or her college and/or career goals.
The newsletter contains information for the month of October. Additional events may be added that were not available at the time of print. Please continue to check the school's website and Facebook page for updated information daily. We appreciate each and every one of you! Please take at least 30 minutes per day to "check-in" with your student so that you will be aware of events. It is a great opportunity to continue to foster positive parent/student relationships. Continue to stay safe and remember, "Together is Better."
