The next APC Board Meeting is Jan 11

The Academic Policy Committee (APC) governs Family Partnership Charter School. The APC selects the Chief Administrator and oversees financial, legal and academic operations of the school to ensure the fulfillment of its mission.

Monday, January 11, 2021 @ 5:30 p.m. is your next chance to get involved - you're a stakeholder in Family Partnership Charter School! Public comment may be emailed to any APC Board Member.

The meeting will be streamed live on YouTube


The APC Board is looking for 2 parents (3-year term) and 2 high school students (1-year term) to be seated June 2021. If interested, please email jutic@icloud.com for more information.

ASD Online Lottery Info

Just a reminder that the online lottery will open for applications on January 1st. The lottery is for students that are NOT current Family Partnership students. If you have an incoming Kindergartner, or you know a family that would like to join our Musk Ox Family please remember you need to apply through the online lottery system.

Returning families, our online registration will be open in early April, watch for more information on that. If you have any questions here is a link to all the information on the ASD website or you can call us at the office at 742-3700.

Welcome to 2021! We are starting our parent workshops again this Friday, January 8 at 6 p.m. We'd love to have you join us on zoom to learn about choosing a science fair topic, displaying it on a board, and all sorts of other fun science fair conversations.

Looking for a way for your student to interact with their peers?

Virtual enrichment classes for the spring semester are on the website NOW! Even on Zoom, students are having a blast learning and doing activities together.

These classes fill up fast so check them out and sign your student up today!

UAF Dual Credit info & workshop video

Did you know your high schooler can take courses at colleges for dual-credit? The benefits are huge! They can earn double-credit for their courses, receiving both high school & college credit. 1 semester of college=2 semesters of high school, saving students time. And you can use your allotment to pay for the courses. Well now we've added University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) to the mix and at a reduced cost! High schoolers can sign up for UAF virtual classes for $495 per 3-credit course (see the files below for more information).

Watch our recording of the parent workshop by Amy Bristor, the UAF Alaska Advantage Coordinator. In this workshop, she explains how to dual enroll your high schooler at UAF and gives your student practical ways to be successful in university level classes while still in high school. It is very informative and such an exciting opportunity for your student!
