Soccer Players Come To The Aid Of Driver Involved In Hit & Run Accident
At Howell we often talk about our R.I.S.E. core values and our expectations of those involved in our programs. It is great when we are able to see that those discussions, conversations and activities that are at the forefront of our programs turn into action. Last week five Howell soccer players witnessed a hit and run accident following a soccer game. Howell soccer players Devin Griffith, Tommy Naumann, Brady Glon, Matt Peters and Nick Maurer quickly went to the aid of the passengers involved. The Vikings went to check on the driver and passengers, called 911 and stayed with the passengers until the police and EMS arrived. The players were also able to provide valuable information to the police in the hit and run accident. Thank you to these five young men for being such great representatives of our programs and for truly living our R.I.S.E. core values not only at school but also in our community!

Cheer To Support Walk To End Alzheimers
The Francis Howell Cheerleaders are walking to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® on September 29th at the Saint Charles Community College campus - 9am to noon. We are committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care and support.
Currently, more than 5.5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. An estimated 5.3 million are 65 and older and approximately 200,000 are under age 65 and have younger-onset Alzheimer's. Basically one in 10 people ages 65 and older (10 percent) has Alzheimer's dementia. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
We need your support to do our part and to reach our donation goal of $2000! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Viking fans that would like to support this cause and donate to help our cheerleaders reach their goal can do so by clicking the link below:
