Principal's Message
The second half of our school year brings a lot of activity to Burnside! March through May are definitely our "busy" months when it comes to putting our learning into action. In the coming months, we have several trips planned and other activities such as field days and concerts.
We are working on dates for our spring concerts and will get that information to you soon!
Our spring Book Fair will take place March 9 - 14 to coincide with our conferences. The Book Fair will be open in the IMC during conferences.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns.

***Per district procedure, we have one 15-minute conference time available per student. It is imperative that parents/caregivers who are connected to the student are receiving the same information and planning together, as a team, how to best support the student. Please contact the Burnside office at 651-385- 4700, if you have any difficulty signing up for a time.
Thank you!
Every year in March we celebrate the services AmeriCorps members provide to our country. National AmeriCorps Week is March 12th-18th! At Burnside, Casey Starr, Ruth Misinko, and Christy Barker are our AmeriCorps members -- and the work they do to support our teachers is STELLAR!

Third Quarter Progress Reports
Burnside teachers will complete the informal progress reports to discuss with families at conferences next week. Official report cards are only completed at the end of Semester 1 and Semester 2, so a less formal progress report will be provided this quarter. Specials (Art, Music, PE, & STEM) are only graded at the semesters, since they only meet with students one out of every four days.
