The Washington Little Rockets Weekly Newsletter
Week of October 24th - October 28th, 2016
Little Rockets News!
Dear Families,
Thank you to all families that joined us for 4K Pumpkin Day! We had great weather and a great turn-out. We hope you enjoyed it!
This week we will have our fall Parent-Teacher Conferences for Early Childhood and 4K students! Wednesday we will have evening conferences from 4:00-8:00 and Thursday we will have all-day conferences from 8:00am-8:00pm. Reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on Thursday and Friday!
Please assist us in keeping the conferences on-time by being ready to go at your scheduled conference time. Please understand that conferences are scheduled in 15-minute blocks, and discussions need to be focused in order to keep from going over.
Please consider stopping in the Washington Library during conferences to visit our Book Fair! Our school earns books based on our total sales. Also, teachers will have a "wish list" that you can take a look at and purchase a book for the classroom, if that is something you are interested in doing.
We are also looking for some parents to volunteer to work at the Book Fair. Please look for the sign-up link below.
Thank you and have a great week!
Mrs. Stacie Nelson, Principal

RAINBOW/COLOR DAY!
Ideas:
- Clothing with rainbows
- Clothing of all one color (for example: red pants, socks, shirt, shoes)
- Clothing with a mix of colors (one red sock, one green sock, blue pants, yellow shirt, etc.)
We look forward to a day of COLORS!
All Star Dips Fundraiser!
It’s easy….the more dips we sell-the more our school earns. Each package of yummy dip sells for $6.00. We earn $3.00 for each package sold. Simply mix each flavor packet with sour cream and mayonnaise to make approximately 16 oz. of dip!
Profits from the sale will benefit all students who attend Washington School of Early Learning and A Child’s Imagination. This is a HUGE opportunity for us as it will help to pay for special events and items for our classrooms.
The Top Seller will receive a gift certificate to Dairy Queen!
Orders, along with money, will be due on NOVEMBER 11th!
Dress for Outdoor Play!
Hats, mittens, and warm coats are appreciated.
Also, please try and LABEL your child's outdoor clothing to assist in making sure items are not lost.
We do have a LOST and FOUND bucket inside the doors at the office entrance in the event we have an item that is not labeled or claimed.
