Scratch Paper Clarification
You can teach good general good test taking skills but you cannot teach specific to this test. For example, a student can use scratch paper for writing if the student chooses. A teacher cannot specifically say “you need to use you scratch paper to write your paper then type it into computer when completing ISASP”.
New Students
We recognize that schools will be busy entering accommodations, creating sessions, etc. For this year, when a new student arrives at your building during the testing window, put in a ticket and select the ISASP category.
Can you read a word in a test to a student?
- For reading you may NOT read anything.
- For math and science you may read a word to a student but you may NOT define the word.
- Use MAP proctoring guidelines for this practice.
What if I lose a ticket and the student still needs to finish the test?
You can reprint the ticket needed from the test session.
