Principal’s Message
As you know, hybrid learning resumes on Monday, February 1st. As a reminder, the building schedule is listed below:
AM Hybrid and Virtual Sessions 8:44 am - 10:59 am
PM Hybrid and Virtual Sessions 12:59 pm - 3:14 pm
We will be following the same safety guidelines and procedures that we followed prior to our adaptive pause. All students, staff and visitors must wear masks on school grounds. Each day hybrid parents are required to certify that their child has no symptoms of COVID-19 and has not been exposed to anyone with symptoms. Hybrid families will receive an email from Crisis Go every morning at 6:00 a.m. Click on the link in the email to complete the self certification process. You must record your child’s temperature and answer all of the questions. Parents must complete the self certification process by 8:00 a.m. each day. Administrators will have access to a list of students who have not self certified. Students who do not complete the self certification process will not be permitted to go to class. Thank you for your cooperation on this important safety matter.
Mrs. Bellini
Books to Return (Hybrid Students Only)
Hybrid students will need to return some books so they may be used in school. Please see this list of books to return on February 1st. Please start looking for these books around your house. Some families may have already returned some of the books on the list. Thank you for your help!
Reminder: Griffin’s Tales Submission Deadline Extended!
Northwestern University's Griffin's Tales has extended the date for children to submit their stories!!!
The new date for submissions is Monday, February 1st. Please use this form to submit your child's story. You can always send your children's stories to Mrs. Monge and she'll be happy to submit them for you: rmonge@nssd112.org.
New! Lunch Bunch Groups
Beginning the week of February 1st, all Red Oak students will have the opportunity to participate in grade level Lunch Bunch groups between 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Lunch Bunch groups are held via Zoom and are similar to a structured recess.
