First Grade Social Studies Centers at the Colonial Hills Library
Students are studying communication, recreation and transportation-- past and present. A rotary dial phone from the 70s, a wooden dollhouse that belonged to Librarian Marva Allen when she was a child, and a reproduction Colonial era "buzz saw"/noise maker are just a few of the hands-on artifacts being used to make research engaging and fun!
