First Grade Social Studies Centers at the Colonial Hills Library

Students are studying communication, recreation and transportation-- past and present. A rotary dial phone from the 70s, a wooden dollhouse that belonged to Librarian Marva Allen when she was a child, and a reproduction Colonial era "buzz saw"/noise maker are just a few of the hands-on artifacts being used to make research engaging and fun!

Procedures for Spending $1000 Bond Money

Now you know what the Last Day Before the Break "treat" is and we hope that you enjoyed the 12 Days as presented by the Library Services Team!

Each librarian will receive $1,000 in credit with Library Services. These funds may be used to purchase print, additional technology, or a combination of both.

In January, Library Services will email a link to a Google form where you can submit your spending wishes. Look for this after the break.
