The theme having hope will get you through hard times the Frank's and the vandans had hope when the invasion started on page 427 Miep said Mr. Frank the most wonderful thing has happened the invasion has begun. Ann had hope that her family and friends would get out after the war and that's what kept her happy. pg 392 “It worked Pim . . . the address you left! Mr. Dussel says that people believe we escaped to Switzerland” Anne's family and the Vandans had hope when they found the loft to live in while the war was going on. Having hope is what kept the is Frank's and Vandans going it kept them from just going and having the nazis take them to a concentration camp. But when Miep brought them the news about the invasion starting they knew that they would get out of the war alive. They had hope that the invasion would stop the war.

The theme friendship/family is getting into a fight with you brother sister bestfriend cousin dad whoever is close to you. It's just like how Ann and her mom got into a fight about Margot, Ann was mad but they made up because you can't be mad at your family/friends for that long Mrs. Frank and Ann got into a fight but because there family later on in her life they make up. Early in Ann's life Peter didn't like Ann but only because she talked so much he even called her Mrs. Quack quack but later on they became friends and started talking and hanging out with each other. When Mrs. Vandan stood up for Mr. Vandan when he was eating their bread because he was hungry it's because they're married
Biography
My biography is on Peter a Jewish Dutch boy who is very lazy and squeamish and hypersensitive Peter is an only child he has no sisters or brothers. Peter has a cat named mouschi he is a sprite lay lean black tom cat and is very very friendly. Peter is a simple lovable boy. Peter is a weak character. In 1943 he joined his parents and the Frank family in the secret annex at 263 Prinsengracht to escape Nazi persecution. For the next two years the family hid without going outside.He and Anne Frank started to develop a friendship. After that they slowly started to develop a romantic relationship. On August 1 the two families were betrayed when the gestapo raided the secret annex. For several days the family was imprisoned in Amsterdam, then on August 8, 1944 the were moved to the Westbrook transit camp and imprisoned in the punishment barracks. On September 3, 1944 the German deported both the families on the last transport train to leave Westbrooke before its liberation by advancing allies to concentration camp in Poland. After a three day journey they arrived at Auschwitz.
