Bring One Campaign
VaASL's Bring One Campaign is designed to encourage all current members to bring prospective new members to the regional conference. Each current member bringing a new attendee - as well as the new attendee- will be entered for a drawing at the conference. The winning duo will each win a prize.
And don't limit yourself to bringing a librarian. Plenty of people in your building could learn a lot at the regional!
This is an opportunity for you to introduce your colleagues to the benefits of participating in VAASL.
Keynote Speaker: Author A. B. Westrick
A.B. Westrick is the author of Brotherhood (Viking/Penguin Young Readers 2013), winner of VLA’s Jefferson Cup Award, the Housatonic Book Award for Writing for Middle Grades and YA, the Jane Addams Honor Award, and the NCSS Notable Trade Book Award; and is an ALA-YALSA Best Book for Young Adults, and a Junior Library Guild Selection. She and her family live near Richmond, VA.
