G is for Glow
In celebration of "G" day in Mrs. Goetz's class at Callahan Elementary, an a-x countdown to the end of school, her kindergarten class celebrated with a Glow Day! They reviewed skills they learned in Math and Reading this year and participated in some glowing STEM activities.
Perfect Pass Rate
Hilliard Middle-Senior High School CNA students, led by Mrs. Angela Barnes from West Nassau High School, had all students pass the CNA Certification Exam. They have a 100% pass rate for the group.
Arbor Day
Mrs. McDuffie’s third grade class at Callahan Intermediate celebrated Arbor Day with forester Jim Tootle. Students learned about planting a tree and were each given one to take home.
Amelia Island Book Festival Short Story Contest Winners
Two Hilliard Middle-Senior High School students were selected as winners in the Amelia Island Book Festival Short Story Contest! These students were also chosen for publication in our 2022 Short Story Writing Competition Anthology.

Flashes Marching Band
The Hilliard Middle-Senior High School Flashes Marching Band marched in the Shrimp Festival Parade.
Hat Day
Mrs. Fowler’s Pre-k class at Callahan Elementary earned a Hat Day, Bubble Party, Popsicle Party, and Shaving Cream Party as rewards for helping raise money for the school with the Color Chaos Fun Run.

J is for Job
Shannon Basile shared her job at White Oak Conservation at Southside Elementary School.
Glow Day
Mrs. Kramer’s 3rd-grade math class at Bryceville Elementary had an FSA Glow day - a task card review to prepare for the Math FSA and fun, exciting games.
