Pop-UP Storytelling Event
November 5, 2018
Join us for a Pop-UP Storytelling Event at Oakland Schools
We all know the power of story making in reflecting on and learning from our experiences.
We all know the power of storytelling to support, encourage, challenge, or inspire us to try something new--to move forward in our journeys.
The journey of our schools becoming cultures of thinking and learning is rich with stories. We invite you to share one of your stories as a gift to all educators striving to
make learners’ thinking valued, visible, and actively promoted!
Sign up to join a FREE CoT Storytelling Circle on November 5, 2018. As a CoT Storyteller, you will be set up to meet with a small circle of storytellers and listeners with whom you will share your 5 minute story.
Storytellers tell real, first-person, true stories from their real lives based on the theme of the event. All you really need to bring is your story! You may want to bring one (no more than one) artifact to illuminate your story.
For this CoT Pop-Up Storytelling Event, the themes are:
On Purpose
Seeing Thinking
Ooops---A-ha!
Date/Time/Location:
Monday, November 5, 2018
4:00 - 6:00 pm
Oakland Schools
2111 Pontiac Lake Rd.
