  • The best way to fight fatigue may be a brisk walk. Although it may not seem like something you would like to do when tired, a brisk walk can be better than coffee or a nap at fighting fatigue. Take a time out in the afternoon to take care of yourself with a twenty minute walk!
  • People with diets that include potassium rich foods like bananas, oranges, and cantaloupes may be less prone to high blood pressure.
  • Include specific foods to stay healthy this winter. Garlic and onions possess antiviral and antibiotic properties.

September Challenge for HPS Employees and Families

Minimum guidelines for physical activity for adults aged 18-64 include at least 2 hours and 30 minutes of aerobic activity each week. Join the challenge. Log your activity for the month of September. Organize a walking group. Take a family walk after dinner. Get moving and set a goal of 2 hours 30 minutes each week.
