THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
A huge THANK YOU to each and every family who participated in the Otis Spunkmeyer fundraiser. We earned over $16,000.00 toward our playground shade canopy! Your support is greatly appreciated. Cookie dough and other orders should be at the school in the next couple weeks. We will send notification of the pick up time. All orders must be picked up by a parent.
We are so proud of our students and staff in their involvement in supporting childhood cancer. On Friday, September 27th, Trafalgar Elementary spent the day in their jammies to show support for the thousands of children who are stuck in their PJ’s battling cancer. During our Pjammin' with Kids event, we raised over $2,000. This money was sent to The American Childhood Cancer Organization.
Captain Canned Good was excited to see that Trafalgar Elementary collected over 1,700 items for the Salvation Army. THANK YOU to the Trafalgar Elementary Student Council for planning this community outreach event. We appreciate the families that donated canned food items. Way to go Eagles! CONGRATS to Mrs. Swanson's class and Mrs. Cruz's class for bringing in the most food items. They won an ice cream treat.

SAFETY MATTERS!
- Please remember that the safest way for your child to go home is by riding the bus or being picked up in the car line. Do not park on private property or on the roadway to pick up or drop off children.
- Parents, parent pick up car tags should remain in the window until AFTER the student is picked up. This will help the teachers at the cones with getting the kids in the cars safely.
- In times of severe weather, dismissal may be delayed. Walkers and bike riders will not be allowed to leave the building until we receive an "all clear" for lightning.
- We do not take transportation changes over the phone. If you need to change the way your child goes home, you must submit it in writing or in person to the office.
- Remember that when you are leaving our driveway, pedestrians have the right of way. Please be cautious when approaching the end of our driveway as students from our school and the middle school cross there.
