The Emmys
Were last night apparently. I'm no fan of award shows personally, but it does appear that some TV performers and creators won some things. Congrats to all, but especially:
- The cast of Game of Thrones, who gave us a decade of awesome entertainment even if you didn't care for the final season
- Pheobe Waller-Bridge, QUEEN
- Bills - Hader won again, and Billy Porter is the first out gay man to win lead actor in a drama series for Pose
- There was no host, so we don't have to hear how bland or bad they were
- Michelle Williams took her shot to discuss the pay gap
I'm sure I missed something. Hopefully, you enjoyed! TV is at a great time right now, so much good content. As I always say, TV is my friend who reads books to me.
