What are winds. wind is caused by unequal heating of the earth. local winds and sea breeze
local winds is when the warmer air over land rises, while the cooler air over the ocean rushes in to take its place. this wind is called a sea,or onshore breeze. local winds are different from global winds. local winds are caused by unequal heating within a small area. Also local winds that generally move short distances and can blow from any direction. Sea breezes are breezes that blow from the sea to land and occurs during the day ,because water heats up at slower rate then land. next up global winds!

Global winds are major winds that blow from one direction over long distances. The Corialis effect causes winds traveling north to curve to the east and winds traveling south to curve to the west. Polar easterlies, weststerlies , and trade winds are all types of global winds. next up land breezes!
