Blue Moon
Ralph, as we like to call him, has a naturalistic view in his art. Ever since I was a little girl, this man was the closest thing I had to a grandpa. He taught me to see the beauty in everything and as a gift, I received this beautiful painting called "Blue Moon". When speaking with Ralph in person, he told me the meaning behind this painting. In his words, he has said that he wanted to incorporate the many light colors a Blue Moon possesses and put it into a simple plant scene. That is what he did.
Public and Private Worldwide
Ralph has been painting for years, using nothing but watercolors. His motivation for painting began in 1981, on a trip in Central America. As he was experiencing a journey through one of the rainforest's he saw the wide range of creativity and the rainforest now has become his standard focus point in all of his paintings. These painting are presented in various settings all over the world. Many are set up in my own home, while others are displayed in public settings.
Impact
Ralph may not have had an impact on everyone, but definitely has had an impact on me. He, all throughout my life, has shown me the color in everything, and the potential beauty that everything in this world has. He shows all of his customers the beauty in the earth and the many colors that we didn't even think existed. He creates such visually appealing pieces and that is what has made him so famous today.
