ODYSSEY OF THE MIND:
It’s about that time of the year to get your brain back in gear. Next Wednesday, September 9, 2015, there will be a meeting for those students interested in being a part of Odyssey of the Mind teams here at Collins High School. This meeting is for all Collins’ students that were a part of the Odyssey of the Mind teams last year as well as those wishing to become a part of the 2015-2016 teams. We will have a brief, very brief, discussion about last year and what we want and need to do this year. Plan on being here for no longer than 30 minutes. I hope I will see all of your creative faces next Wednesday, September 9 at 3:30 – 4:00pm in Mr. Barriger’s Art Room #131
Thanks,
Mr. B

Shelby Prevention will be showing a documentary of the Carroll County Bus Crash at Shelby Christian on September 3rd! We will also be having one of the victim survivors, Quinton Higgins, coming to speak. Doors open at 5:15 and the movie will begin approx. 6:00. We will have snacks before. This is going to be such a great event for our community!
If you are not familiar with the Carroll County Bus Crash, it is identified as the worst drunk-driving related accident in U.S. history. There were 27 killed (mostly children) and 35 injured. This crash happened less than a hour away from Shelby County. This is one of the best documentaries that I've ever seen.
