FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Paris Ridge Families,
Let me start off by saying what a wonderful time Pantherfest was this past week! Thank you to our PTO for helping coordinate and to all of you that were able to join in on the festivities! The weather turned out to be great, and in total, we had over 700 people that were slated to attend. Being able to come together to celebrate the end of the year, eat some tasty food, and simply enjoy the company of one another is so incredibly special.
We have made it to the last week of school! There is no school on Monday due to Memorial Day and our last day of school on Friday will be a half day (release time is noon) as teachers wrap up in their classrooms and finalize report cards. Speaking of report cards, they will go live in PowerSchool on Monday, June 5th at 4:00 pm.
Due to the high temperatures next week, our field day start and end times have been adjusted. We will now begin field day at 9:00 a.m. and events should wrap up at approximately 11:40. Upon completion of the events, students will work through our staggered lunch times. Students will have just the one hot lunch option that day of cookout (hot dogs, hamburgers, baked beans, chips, fruit), which will be fitting for already being outside.
We hope you have a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend. We look forward to seeing students on Tuesday for our last few days of the year!

FROM THE NURSE
The end of the school year is quickly approaching! Caledonia Community Schools are unable to keep medication over the summer, this includes inhalers, Epi-pens, other emergency medications and all Over the Counter (OTC) medication.
If your child has medication at school, please make arrangements to pick up your child’s medication(s) on/before the last day of the school (June 2nd). If you are unable to pick the medication up prior to school ending and need to make special arrangements to do so, please call the school office at 616-891-7033 to make those arrangements. The school cannot allow your child to bring the medication home (unless noted on consent form as self-carry) or allow anyone other than a parent/guardian to pick it up.
Many of these medications are expensive and the school is required to dispose of any medication that is not picked up, so please make arrangements to pick up your child’s medication as soon as possible. All medications will be disposed of on Friday, June 9th.
Thank you!!!
