Crestwood Elementary
5th grade scholars at Crestwood Elementary were given the opportunity to create their own drink collaboratively. After their unique creation, the staff were able to vote for their favorite drinks. The drinks, such as Ocean Water and Kiwi Strawberry Lemonade, were a treat!!! Scholars were able to apply science to real life application. What an amazing experience!

OHE's Eli Henderson receives Citizenship Award
Congratulations to Oakland Heights Elementary 5th Grader Eli Henderson on being one of the recipient of the Samuel Dale Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution Citizenship award. He was received the honor during a ceremony on May 4, 2022.

Students in Ms. West’s class read a story about how to make ice cream. After they were finished reading they decided to make their own ice cream!

Young Entrepreneur Expo at Ross Collins Career and Technical Center
The first Youth Entrepreneur Expo took place on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 9 a.m.-Noon at Ross Collins Career and Technical Center. Students at Ross Collins Career and Technical Center had the opportunity to learn how to obtain an LLC, learn about personal and business credit, and hear local success stories from local small business owners.
