Julian Curtiss Winter Concert
December 10, 2018
Our fourth and fifth grade students will perform in a morning and evening concert on Monday; both held in the gymnasium. The day concert is for JC students and staff, and the evening concert is for JC families and friends. For the evening concert 4th/5th grade students will meet at school at 6:30 pm sharp, for tuning and warm-ups.
Dress code for the day and evening concert is as follows: White tops and black bottoms. Please, come to school in the morning already dressed in concert attire. Boys can wear a white button down shirt, black bottoms, and dress shoes. A tie and/or bow tie are optional, but highly encouraged. Girls should wear a white blouse, a long black skirt or black dress slacks. Black dress shoes or black flats are acceptable. Students may bring a change of clothes for after the morning concert. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at the Winter Concert at 7:00 pm.
A successful Book Fair!
A very special Thank You to Mr. Bob Chaney and his committee for a WONDERFUL Book Fair. Mr. Chaney worked the book fair everyday all day! We thank him and all of the parents that came out to support the Book Fair and literacy in our community.
Access to books is at the forefront of a number of research studies on students’ reading growth and progress and the book fair is another way to provide students and their families with an opportunity to buy or receive books to build their home libraries. This is yet another way to foster a love for Literacy in our students!
