The day concert is for JC students and staff, and the evening concert is for JC families and friends. For the evening concert 4th/5th grade students will meet at school at 6:30 pm sharp, for tuning and warm-ups.

Girls should wear a white blouse, a long black skirt or black dress slacks. Black dress shoes or black flats are acceptable. Students may bring a change of clothes for after the morning concert. A successful Book Fair!

A very special Thank You to Mr. Bob Chaney and his committee for a WONDERFUL Book Fair. Mr. Chaney worked the book fair everyday all day! We thank him and all of the parents that came out to support the Book Fair and literacy in our community.

Access to books is at the forefront of a number of research studies on students’ reading growth and progress and the book fair is another way to provide students and their families with an opportunity to buy or receive books to build their home libraries. This is yet another way to foster a love for Literacy in our students!

December Early Release Days - Dismissal is 12:45 pm

We will hold an Early Release schedule on Tuesday December 11th

We also have evening conferences on December 13th, but this is a full day of school for our students.

Please make sure you put your child's dismissal plan in School Dismissal Manager for the Early Release Days.

If you do not yet have an appointment for a conference with your child's teacher, please reach out today to set a date and time. If you are unsure of your appointment time, please contact your child's teacher.

Big picture

Neighbor to Neighbor Food Drive

Each month, Neighbor to Neighbor provides enough food to prepare over 25,000 meals for residents of Greenwich in need. The "client choice" food pantry allows families to choose items based on their needs and dietary preferences. The JC Service Club is helping Neighbor to Neighbor restock the food pantry's supplies for the upcoming holiday season. Please bring donations to JC by Thursday, December 20th. Below is a list of the most needed items:

  • Canned meat (chicken, tuna, stew, etc.)
  • Canned fruit
  • Black beans or red kidney beans (dried or canned)
  • Soup
  • Cereal
  • Peanut Butter
  • Jelly or jam
  • Rice
  • Pasta
  • Oatmeal

We will also be donating any items from the Lost and Found that are not claimed by Friday, December 14th. Please make sure to visit the Lost and Found before then - parent conferences are a great opportunity to check!

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Mrs. Brush, Mr. O'Brien, Ms. Stewart and the JC Service Club
