Mr. Seabury's World History students wrote their names in clay using a 5000 yr old language (Cuneiform)
Our AP government the students visited the Utah State Capitol and met personally with legislators, and got a behind the scenes tour of the Capitol!

The Coolidge Scholarship
The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, four-year, merit scholarship that may be used by recipients for undergraduate study at any accredited college or university in the United States. Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2024 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply (current high school seniors are not eligible to apply). Winners may use the scholarship to pursue any academic major.

Joseph James Morelli Legacy Foundation Scholarship
Must be either a high school student or a post-high school student attending an accredited undergraduate school or technical school in the United States in the Fall of 2023. Must be pursuing a degree in a STEM field. Must have a demonstrated learning challenge (disability) of dyslexia, dysgraphia and/or dyscalculia.

Thomas Butterfield Community Service Scholarship
The Thomas Butterfield Scholarship is presented each year to three exemplary Herriman youth who have shown dedication to service and leadership within the community. Applicants must be a resident of Herriman City for at least 12 (twelve) months prior to due date of scholarship application, have performed a minimum of 24 hours of community service for Herriman City or residents of Herriman, and the service must be performed specific only to this award or in conjunction with one or more of Herriman City’s service committees.

Hannah Warburton Resilience Award
The Hannah Warburton Resilience Award is a $500.00 cash award established for Utah high school seniors who have shown resilience in overcoming difficult obstacles to completing their high school education. This is a cash award meant to offset any costs associated with the recipient’s efforts to attain higher education, including tuition, books, supplies, transportation costs, or simply to take a well-deserved summer vacation. In the process of applying for this award, students will share their story of resilience.

Young Technology Scholar (YTS) Award
Micro Focus and the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) are pleased to sponsor the
annual Young Technology Scholar (YTS) Award. This award is granted to high school
seniors who have demonstrated proficiency in computer information technology related
courses and leadership abilities in their schools and communities. All applicants must be high school seniors enrolled in a Utah High School program who have taken or are currently taking an Information Technology Course(s), have passed a specific industry exam certification(s), want to attend a Utah Institute of Higher Education and who have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
