Snow Plower Power!
By. Eleanor Schleinger
Snow plow workers spend hours clearing our city streets...Sometimes all through the entire night! When I interviewed the snow plow workers they said the best part of working the plow was the people they work with. Also they said the most rewarding part was getting paid of course! Anyone who’s authorized can use the snow plow believe it or not. The snow plow drivers said that even women work with them as well. They claim the worst part is working through the night because it can get cold and they get tired. Most times it’s just them singing along with the radio in the plow. Did you know that the plow workers rarely have to use the horns on the vehicle, but we sure had fun honking the horns during their visit? I hope you’ve learned some about the workers who plow the snow from the city streets.
