reflections from mass
In today’s Gospel we heard about how Jesus healed a deaf man. Father Gordon said that Jesus can also heal us spiritually and that we have to be open to hear Him. Father Gordon reminded us that we can hear Jesus through others. - Quan
In the Gospel Jesus healed a deaf man named Ahijah. Sometimes we can be deaf to hearing what Jesus says to us. We must open our heart to hear Him. We can hear him through our parents, teachers or even our friends. – Sienna
In the Gospel we heard about a deaf man who was healed. Father Gordon said to always try and listen to others even if you don’t want to, it might be God speaking to you. - Aiden

we need help
Thanks to our volunteers who have been assisting in preparations for our Taste of Achievement Gala. Volunteers are still needed, especially on Saturday evening for our event. Please consider signing up to assist this Saturday at Gala. This promises to be a fun evening for volunteers and attendees. Help is also needed on Sunday from 12pm-2pm to assist in clean up. Let us know that we can count on you to be there to assist. If you have high school students in need of volunteer hours, they are welcome to come with you on Sunday for clean up.

Thank you for making an effort to have your child(ren) at school on time daily. This helps efficiency in our office, minimizes disruptions in the classroom, and maximizes your student's learning in the classroom.
coming soon.... terra nova testing
- Ensure your child arrives at school on time daily. Testing occurs first thing every day. When students arrive on time to school, it gives them the chance to get settled and ready to start the test with the rest of the class.
- Be sure your child has a good night sleep throughout the week.
- Be sure your child has a healthy breakfast and brings a snack daily.
You can anticipate the workload and assessments to be lighter throughout the scheduled testing dates. This is our attempt to help students focus, and do their best, on the Terra Novas. It also eliminates the excuse that a child didn't get a good night sleep because of homework.
end of second trimester and report cards
*Please note that due Mrs. James' absence (see below), students will not receive music grades at this time. Once Mrs. James returns to school and grades can be updated, we will reissue report cards with music grades. Please do not worry about music grades at this time. Ample time will be given to students to get assignments turned in and for music grades to be changed. If you have any questions, please refrain from reaching out to Mrs. James. Rather, you may email Mrs. Haas at thaas@stjosephwhschool. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
Please Pray
Eternal rest for Mr. James and divine consolation to his family.
Survey
Thank you to the 96 parents who have completed the Parent Survey for St. Joseph Catholic School already. If you haven't taken the time to complete the survey, please do so at your convenience. Information collected from this survey will help us as we make plans for improvements. Thank you for your feedback.
