Star Student
The star student next week is Calleigh Cryer. The star student gets to share their poster about themselves during their week. On Friday of that week, the Star Student may bring a show and tell item and will get to eat lunch in the classroom with me and two friends!
Below is the picture of students I ate lunch with today!
Stomp Out Bullying
STOMP Out Bullying™ is the leading national nonprofit dedicated to changing the culture for all students. It works to reduce and prevent bullying and cyberbullying. We are asking our Bransford Texans to wear blue and boots on Monday, October 2 to join the stand against hate, racism, and discrimination. Together we can help STOMP Out Bullying!
CogAT Testing
Students will be taking the Cognitive Abilities Test during the week of October 16-20. Your child has brought home a blue letter explaining this test. Thank you for not scheduling appointments during this week.
UPDATE: Second Graders have "Adopted" a Class in Need!
Thank you so much for all of the generous donations you've sent in for our adopted classroom! We'll be extending this project until October 13. Mrs. Powell, the teacher we are working with has sent us a link for her school's Amazon wish list. If you'd like to choose specific things that you'd like to donate, this is the easiest way to go! Amazon will ship your gift directly to them. Thank you so much for help!
