THRIVE Drive
Alamogordo Public Schools' annual Thrive Drive!
Once a year for an entire month, APS employees may give to any of the Thrive community programs or any other 501C3 they choose. What is Thrive?
Thrive (formerly known as United Way) is a non-profit organization that has been helping to improve the lives of our children, seniors, neighbors, families, and friends in our community for over 50 years.
Thrive currently funds 17 community programs such as Big Brothers Big Sisters Otero County, Alamogordo Senior Center, Boys & Girls Club of Otero County, COPE (Center of Protective Environment), S.A.N.E (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners), and many more in both Otero and Lincoln Counties.
⭐All funds donated and raised in Otero and Lincoln Counties stay in Otero and Lincoln Counties (Unless you choose to send your money somewhere else).
⭐You can give to ANY 501C3 you choose, even if they do not have a program funded by Thrive.
⭐You don't have to give a lot to make a Big Difference (even $1 per paycheck helps), and your donation is 100% Tax Deductible!
⭐For every person who completes at least a $5 per paycheck ($10/month) pledge, their name will go into a RAFFLE!
So, how do you donate?
Please request a "Thrive APS Pledge Form" by emailing Thrive@alamogordoschools.org
⭐We will send you the "Thrive APS Pledge Form" through Frontline Central.
Just fill out the form and click submit; that's it! Then, beginning in January, it will start coming out of your paycheck.
Thank you for your support of Thrive and the many vital programs it supports in our community!

📑ASSESSMENT ALLEY📑
✅CFA #2 THIS COMING WEEK!✅
Next week will be deadline CFA #2
- As announced in the newsletter, this district common assessment was postponed as NLT November 15-17 for grades 1st-11th grades.
- This test is given in our ILLUMINATE platform. ALL CFAs are assigned by teachers, not district.
- The assessments are already populated on your grade level tiles to assign and can be administered when you are ready next week.
🛑If you are new to Illuminate, please use Clever to sign in ("sign in with google") and make sure you can get in. Email Jaimi Lewis and Carrie Rowe for any missing accounts.
🛑If you are missing students on your roster. Please check 2 things first...FIRST, look in top left corner that you are in 2023-2024 school year. SECOND, double check that the child/roster is correct in Powerschool. Illuminate rosters from Powerschool so we have to check that first before troubleshooting can begin.
🛑Please use the button below for guidance on assigning the checkpoints.
