1. Fat is an energy source
2. Fat insulates your organs
3. Fat also transports some nutrients. Such as vitamins A,D,E, and K.


Why is fat the most important nutrient?

1. First and foremost, you cannot live without fat, just as any other essential nutrient
2. Without fat, carbohydrates would have nowhere to be stored, allowing you to have no energy
3.Again, without fat, your body temperature would be abnormally low, because your body would have no way of keeping the heat in.
4.Fat allows you to absorb and process essential vitamins A,D,E, and K.
5. Fat is an important part of your diet, because your body cannot produce polyunsaturated fat, and it must come from your diet.
