We Engage We Educate We Inspire
Hello Stallion Families,
We have some amazing big brothers and big sisters at the Ranch. Each morning these impressive Stallions are walking with their younger siblings to breakfast, or walking them to their classrooms. We are so proud of these great kids! They are excellent role models for all our students.

This year is presenting new challenges to manage when it comes to student sickness and quarentine. When we become aware of a student or staff member who has tested positive for COVID we notify the families of any students in class who may have been exposed. We also reach out to families of students who came into direct contact about quarantining. In addition to the COVID related issues, we have students with the typical illnesses students experience.
As I shared last week, we are postponing any gathering of more students than necesary. This means that our Stampedes (assemblies) are on hold, and we will not be having a Grandparents Day event. We also continue to postpone having volunteers or visitors in the classrooms or for lunch. Unfortunately I don't have a way to determine when we will be able to return to normal school opperations.
We will continue to follow the cleaning and mitigation strategies in place. We continue to have more students wearing masks each day. Please know your students are welcome and encouraged to wear face coverings whenever possible. To be clear, masks and face coverings are not required, just encouraged.
As always, should you have any questions related to Sonoma Ranch and our COVID safety measures, please do not hesitate to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Requirement for All Families
Each year every parent/guardian needs to update the information we have on you and your student(s) within Infinite Campus. We call it the "Annual Update" and it is required of everyone. The update is required of everyone, even if you've just registered. Please follow the steps below to complete your annual update.
Below are instructions on how to complete the ‘Annual Update’ online using the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
Step 2 - Click on the Annual Update picture under District Announcements.
Step 3 - Follow the instructions on the screen.
If you do not have access to a computer at home, you can stop by the Ranch during school hours and use one of their kiosks.
PTSO SRE School Shirts
The SRE 21-22 school shirt for your Stallion or yourself, shirts are on back order.
As a result of COVID related shortages, there is also a shortage of the type of shirt that the company uses to print our SRE t-shirts. All adult sized shirts will be on charcoal grey, but all child size t-shirts will be now printed on black t-shirts.
If you or your Stallion are not happy with this change, please email email@example.com and we will refund you your money.
Please do not call the school as they can not refund money and can not work out issues with shirts.
We apologize for the inconvenience,

Lunch (and breakfast) is FREE
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has extended free meals for children 18 years and younger until further notice to help ensure all children have access to nutritious food as the country recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gilbert Public Schools will provide combo meals at no cost to students for breakfast and lunch. A combo meal includes an entree, fruit and/or vegetable and beverage (milk and/or juice).
We certainly encourage our families to take advantage of this opportunity.
