Annual Open Enrollment Dates
August 1, 2022 through August 18, 2022.
All employees will be required to login and complete their open enrollment. Once the open enrollment period has ended, you will NOT have the opportunity to make changes until August 2023 unless you have a qualifying life event.
How Can You Enroll in Benefits?
- https://channelviewisd.bswift.com/
- Username: Full first name and last name and last 2 digits of birth year (example: JohnDoe85)
- Password: The last four digits of your Social Security Number
Option 2: Meet with a benefit enroller:
- When: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Where: Joyce Hendrix Educational Support Center Board Room
- How: Walk-Ins and Appointments will be available. There will be 3 enrollers, 2 will be for appointments and 1 for walk-ins. Open enrollment is the time of year to enroll or make changes. After the open enrollment period has ended, employees will not be eligible to enroll or make changes until the following year's open enrollment period.

Health Savings Account
An HSA is a type of savings account that lets you set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for qualified medical expenses. By using untaxed dollars in a Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and some other expenses, you may be able to lower your overall health care costs. While you can use the funds in an HSA at any time to pay for qualified medical expenses, you may contribute to an HSA only if you are enrolled in a qualified High High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). TRS-ActiveCareHD is considered a qualified HDHP plan.

Basic and Term Life policies are provided by The Hartford. For the 2022-2023 open enrollment period only, The Hartford is offering a $250,000 maximum enrollment without a EOI completed.
Whole Life policies are provided by Transamerica, replacing Unum. If you currently have a Unum policy, you can continue with that policy with Unum directly (not payroll deducted).
