We Live the Word!

Friday, August 31

The 2018-2019 school year is off to a great start!

Back to School Night was well attended this year. Parents were happy to have the chance to meet our teachers as well as our new pastor, Father Woolley! The next morning, faculty and staff gathered for Mass, which included a Rite of Commissioning. That day's professional development focused on the safety of our students, which will continue throughout the school year.

Orientation day was informative and fun for our preK, Kindergarten, and students new to the middle school! All students in K-8 then enjoyed getting back into school day routines of learning and sharing with each other. We look forward to preK joining us next week!

As always, I am overwhelmed by the incredible generosity of our parishioners! As many of you are aware, sending a child to a parochial school can be a great sacrifice for many families. Our families at Father John V. Doyle School appreciate the level of academic excellence based on Roman Catholic Tradition that we offer, and they are willing to do whatever they can to provide this opportunity for their children.

We are so very grateful for all of the support which Saints John & Paul Parish has shown us. Once again this summer, parishioners have come forward and offered to alleviate the financial burden of families in need. While these donors have asked to remain anonymous, they can be assured that our students and families truly appreciate the amazing gift of a Catholic education. We remain eternally grateful, and will continue keep you in our prayers.

As always, Thank You for your support of Father John V. Doyle School!
