Mrs. Dumm's ELA News
We completed our Bud, Not Buddy novels this week and took our final book test. All quizzes and packet work are either coming home today or next week. I am also sending home our final WONDERS workbook, it is a great resource to review over the summer if you would like them to get a little extra reading practice.
Please feel free to reach out any time with questions.
Miss Griffin's Math Minute
This week students worked on real-world connections and math through our Scholastic S.T.E.M. packets! Students were able to complete 3 or 4 of these packets in class! Students should be coming home with the magazines as well! Also, the students will be coming home with their math workbook. This is a great tool to help review for the summer. I suggest students go through and complete some of the pages that were not completed during the school year!
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me at any point!
Mrs. Moore's Science and Social Studies Scoop
This week was full of a variety of lessons. Early in the week we finished our study of economics and our Native American Home for Sale Projects. They were very informative and creative!
The rest of the week was be spent on our health unit. We learned about the major body systems, the organs and functions.
We were happy to see so many of you at DARE Graduation on Thursday.
Please feel free to reach out at any time, should you have any questions.
WHIZ KIDS
We were not able to do Whiz Kids this week, as our schedule was crazy due to MAP testing and health class. Max and Cameron will present on Monday. Sorry for any inconvenience.
