OTHER INFORMATION

NEW SECURITY ENTRY

Coming soon is new security entry procedures for visitors and parents. You will be receiving more information in the coming weeks .

5TH GRADE FUNDRAISER POPCORN

5th grade is raising funds for their Homer field trip. Jazzy Gourmet Popcorn orders are due January 31. You can purchase the typical flavors: caramel, butter or cheese, or you can be adventurous and try the gourmet flavors of jalapeno, dill, ranch and more. What better time to try each flavor than through a fundraiser! Each bag is $7 and helps the student with their fee for the trip. Contact Mrs. Roberts or Miss Durbin at 892-9700 if you would like to purchase and don't know a 5th grader. Thank you for your support.

LIBRARY NOOK

We have reviewed book care and expectations again. I've seen an increase in damaged and stained books being returned. Students will need to replace or pay for badly damaged or lost books by the end of the school year.

Remember you can check your child's account through the online catalog link on the student tab. User ID and password are their student number (no initials).

Contact Mrs. Gamble at 892-9707 if you have any questions.

SCIENCE

Big Lake will be holding a science fair in March. If you plan to conduct a science investigation that requires months to complete (growing plants, animal behavior modification over time, tracing the path of the sun, etc.) then it is time to start planning for that project.
