Creamed Chipped Beef

My favorite comfort food


1 package of dried beef

3 tablespoons of butter

1/4 c. flour

2 c. milk


Melt butter in medium sized skillet on medium heat.

Chop the dried beef into small bits and add to heated butter and stir.

In a small bowl mix the flour with half of the milk to make a paste.

Add the paste to the beef and butter mixture.

Slowly add the remaining milk and stir until it blends to a creamy consistency.

Serve over toast or biscuits.
