Greeting to all Zeta Chi Brothers!
As you can see it has been a great year for your undergraduate brothers. This is the 9thflag and 21 years as Court Of Honor- no other chapter in the Fraternity has this track record in so few years of existence! All of you should be so very proud for each one of you have contributed to this Success.
It is that time of year for each one of you to consider assisting the chapter in its efforts to continue to fight cystic fibrosis. Saturday, March 22nd will be the date of this years event. We now have a new active, Jonathan Lawler who has Cystic Fibrosis and knew he was going to be a Delt because of all you have done in the community. You can imagine that he and Steve are best of friends even though they cannot have physical contact or get too close to each other physically for fear of possible immune infection spreading back and forth. Jonathan is a great spirited young man who would make all of you proud to call brother.
As noted within attached images, Ray Guy will be this year’s Grand Marshal. Also, you may note that instead of doing the sports challenge we are doing a 5-K Run for Breath event and being supported by a very active American Medical Student Association and of course by a sorority- Pi Beta Phi. The events will kick off at 8:30am and of course you are all welcome to join us.
Please consider contributing any amount you feel comfortable by mailing a check made out to the CF Foundation and send to my home address at 48 Pirate Drive, Hattiesburg, MS 39402. Please let me know via email or text 601-818-4121 that you are planning to send a contribution even if it closer to the first of April or later. Should anyone desire to use a credit card I can refer you to the CF Foundation office in Jackson. Regardless, we want to include your planned contribution in the totals when the big check is handed over to some of the CF kids.
Thanks so much for this consideration and your continued support of the Chapter and your undergraduate brothers and most of all Stephen and now Jonathan.
My best to all of you.
Sid
