Field Flash
May 6, 2022
Dear Field Parents and Guardians,
Thank you so much for showering our staff with appreciation this week! We are so grateful to our hard working staff, and we appreciate your support in recognizing them this Staff Appreciation Week!
Registration is now open for all families! Please do take time this weekend to complete your registration. It is important to register now so that we can complete necessary hiring, develop class lists for next year, and order the current curricular supplies. We only include registered students when we complete these tasks. As a reminder, our Field school office closes one week after school concludes.
- Visit the PowerSchool Parent Portal to complete registration. If you are unable to sign in or forgot your password, contact your school secretary.
A few reminders:
- Weather: Please be sure your child continues to dress for the weather each day. We instruct students to wear the outdoor gear that their grown-up has sent them to school with that day. Please be sure your child is dressed for outdoor recess. As always, label items, please!
- Student Dress: As the weather warms up, please take a moment to review the student dress and appearance information in our Student-Parent Handbook. Please make a note that hats are not permitted in the school building, nor are cropped tops. Please see page 17.
- Kiss and Go reminders: Please remember that the Kiss and Go areas are intended for quick drop offs. Adults should remain in the car and students should exit quickly. Please also remember that our parking lot is not available for drop off.
- Elmore Dismissal: Please note that residents on Elmore have requested the Park Ridge Police during our dismissal due to the increase in illegal parking/blocked driveways. Please, please be sure that you are obeying all traffic rules, refrain from parking in or blocking driveways, and do not have your child cross Elmore in the middle of the street. This is especially important on inclement weather days.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Dr. Courtney Goodman
Principal
