There are many reasons that we need Coral Reefs, such as:
1) Many animals in the ocean depend on Coral Reefs for survival.
2) Coral Reefs protect the coastline from damaging waves and tropical storms.
Negative Effects
The Death of Coral Reefs can leave thousands of species of fish without a place to survive.
Humans depend on Coral Reefs as protection from large waves and tropical storms. And Coral Reefs supply many of the fish that we use for food.

This problem does not currently affect people, but it will in the very near future. Coral Reefs supply humans with a lot of the sea food we eat. So, if all the Coral Reefs are dead we have no supply for a lot of sea food we eat.

My soultion to stop the Death of Coral Reefs
Maybe, (I don't know if this actually possible) we could have 'Coral Reef Farms' and we could raise Coral Reefs. And once a Coral is healthy and grown we can relocate it into the ocean and make the area of relocation protected.
