Honoring Our Veterans
GM Families,
Please help us honor our Green Meadows veterans by uploading a photo or two to our Veterans Day Padlet below. I am hoping that our families will share photos of their family members who are veterans. If you are unfamiliar with Padlet, it is basically a bulletin board where you can upload photos and make comments. Simply click on the "plus" icon in the bottom of the screen to add a title and a photo. Feel free to share the name of the veteran, the relation to our Green Meadows student or family and any additional information. When completed, teachers will share this Padlet with their students and honor our veterans and loved ones for their service. Thank you in advance for participating!

Green Meadows Climate Corner
The Climate Team is a multi-disciplinary team that supports school wide implementation of practices designed to promote positive behavior and a positive school climate. Some of these practices include: defining and teaching school-wide “expected behaviors” across school settings; building connections within classrooms and throughout the school community through shared activities; and, using feedback from teachers along with other data to address areas of concern.
The current Climate Team consists of the following members:
Sharon Moberg, Principal
Jessie Donovan, Assistant Principal
Beth Richards, Reading Specialist
Karyn Shaw, School Psychologist
Karen Gelinas, School Adjustment Counselor
Amanda Shute, Kindergarten Teacher
Emily Shimansky, Third Grade Teacher
Donna Benard, School Adjustment Counselor
Jennifer Grono, Special Education Teacher
Kristen Chapdelaine, Fourth Grade Teacher
The Climate Team meets monthly and welcomes input from our families. Look for future updates in this newsletter on: Green Meadows Grams (Mrs. Donovan and Ms. Moberg shared more about this on Curriculum Night); Green Meadows Gear (t-shirts and other “gear” to express our Green Meadows Pride); and, Family Time (opportunities for cross grade level activities to build (socially distanced) connections across our school community).
