From the Principal...Kristy McKnight

Today marks the end of the first trimester. Can you believe we are through one third of our school year? The growth that I have seen in your children over the last twelve weeks is outstanding!

We had a wonderful time at our Halloween celebrations yesterday! I love to see the students having fun with their classmates and enjoying their special time. It was amazing to see how many of you braved the weather and came out to enjoy our parade. Thanks to everyone who planned, donated and volunteered for the class parties. I particularly want to thank you for following our food safe guidelines. This will continue to be our practice as we go through the year. To reiterate, even if you don't have children with allergies in your classroom, all foods need to selected from the Snack Safely list. I appreciate your cooperation!

If you haven't RSVP'd to our Veterans Day assembly and are interested in attending, please be sure to reach out to Amy Ellis at amy.ellis@d303.org.

I hope you are able to enjoy your chilly weekend!

Ferson Frosty Festival

Get ready for our first annual Ferson Frosty Festival! On Wednesday, December 4th from 3:00-6:00 pm, we hope to provide a handmade marketplace for local artisans and vendors to sell their goods so that Ferson students, families and staff can purchase quality local gifts at affordable prices. Do you know of local artisans or vendors who might be interested in selling? Or are you one? We're looking for all types of vendors (homemade candles, jewelry, canned goods, holiday decor, etc.), but particularly those who can offer some items at $10 or less. Please contact Elizabeth Naatz, elizabeth.naatz@d303.org, at or Annie Wilson, the2potatoheads@yahoo.com, as soon as possible to secure a table at the market.
