What is cholera?
Cholera is a disease you could get from drinking water that is already infected with cholera. People during the industrial revolution were very unsanitary, so they could easily get it from the nasty, disgusting water.
Symptoms & Treatments
The symptoms for cholera is dehydration, vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea, which also causes dangerous fluid loss. Hydrating yourself is the most important way to treat cholera. The doctor can also give you antibiotics that kill the bacteria and reduce the diarrhea. You prevent this disease by washing you hands, of course, eating safe foods, and drinking clean and safe water.
