The WMS Drama Club proudly presents “Once on This Island JR,” in February 2023. The directors are thrilled to announce the cast list, with many outstanding performers from grades 5-8.
Students who are interested in being a part of the WMS Drama Club will meet weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They should meet in room 1542 to receive their packet which includes the schedule, expectations, and costume requirements for this production. You can find more information in our WMS Drama google classroom 3iscs23 or email the directors at ecarvalho@westportschools.org, and mdennis@westportschools.org.

About Me
I love teaching! I have many years of experience in special education and ESL, and most recently worked as a Reading and Learning Specialist in Worcester. I am very happy to join the team at Westport Middle School, and have been enjoying getting acquainted with all our students!
My Favorites
I love spending time outdoors with my family and friends. I have a husband, three children, and two cats. I enjoy vegetable gardening, making things, and getting lost in a good book. I also love travel adventures. Fun fact about me: I served in the Peace Corps and have lived in Honduras and El Salvador!
My Motto is:
"Bloom where you are planted."

WAB Updates
The Athletic Boosters is always looking for New Members to join.
Hello Wildcats!!
The WAB Team welcomes you back. We are looking forward to a great year.
A Big Thank You, to all of our volunteers and supporters! We continue to work to supply items needed by our sports teams, celebrations for each season, stipends for team wear, partial payments on Varsity jackets, senior gifts, and scholarships for athletes.
This year we are adding an on-line store for our spirit wear. This will make the ordering process much more convenient. No more order forms, you order whenever you want, and it is shipped directly to you! Stay tuned, while we iron out a few details.
WAB is hoping to host the Mr. Westport show this school year. Start thinking of ideas and dance routines. More information will follow when it gets closer.
If you are interested in helping us or have any questions at all, please reach out to us by email, Facebook, or text Julie at 508-858-6463.
Please join us in our efforts, we would love to have at least one parent from each team join our group. We are looking for volunteers and new ideas for the new year.
Thank you for your support,
Julie DosVais, Susan Boudria, and the WAB Board
WEF Updates
Dear Friends,
Hello from all of us at the Westport Education Foundation! We hope that everyone had a great summer and a smooth transition back to school. We have been busy working over the summer to ensure that our teachers and students have what they need to start off the new school year.
This year WEF has supported:
NEW Literacy geodes that will be implemented into the curriculum at both the Macomber and Elementary schools;
NEW Mystery Science program that will be used by Science teachers in the Elementary and Middle Schools;
A NEW SAT course, which will be offered at the High School level for any student who wishes to prepare for that test.
Join Us: We are now working with the Friends of the Westport Council on Aging, The PTO and various other town organizations to bring back The Walk/Run for Westport this year. This fundraiser is sure to be a big hit. Register at my.racewire.com and click here for more info on event and vendor opportunities:
