Our fossil fuel: coal
Before the dinosaurs , many giant plants died in swamps. Over millions of years, the plants were buried under water and dirt. Heat and pressure turned the dead plants into coal.
Coal is a hard rock that has mostly carbon, hydrogen and oxygen with a little amount of nitrogen, sulphur, ash and other elements.
Our fossil fuel is non renewable because there's only a limited amount of coal and we can't use it twice
Our Fossil fuel is used to generate many things like furnaces and grills.
People depend on it because it's used for transportation and for heating things up.
