The Weekly Hoot
November 11-17, 2019
Greetings All -
WOW!! Ya'll know I am having a great day because I LOVE this weather!! I know...I know... I am crazy in your eyes, but I just love it! I broke out the hot chocolate and marshmallows last night and just sat there so peacefully drinking it...or as peacefully as you can with Donovan and my friend Rhonda watching the football game! LOL! We are about to get a long spell of this cooler weather and I can't be more excited.
So as we all know, Monday started off with another heart attack on campus! I mean, what are the odds?? It was scary for sure, but I just spoke with Lynn and she is fairly certain she is coming home today and will be back after Thanksgiving. They won't release her because of the stent and her blood pressure until 2 weeks. Do you think she might have given that doctor a bribe to make sure her release date was bumped up to Thanksgiving break?? Just kidding Lynn! Love ya!
Just so all of you are in the loop...Cindy Welch will be strictly with Iola School District after Christmas and Randa Calhoun will strictly be with Anderson-Shiro. I know that both of them are great at their jobs, but we will miss Cindy because she has been here with us for so long. Good luck Cindy and welcome Randa!
We are headed into those fun times of elementary school. The end of November until we are out in December. Buckle up and hang on because I will be throwing lots of dates at you real soon! Discipline gets a little crazy at this time of year as well. Please remember consistency and parental contact is the key. So much can be headed off that way for sure.
I hope everyone has a great weekend planned. Donovan is singing in Burton, Texas tonight and then I have the Jingle Bell Market in the morning. Other than that, I am planning on doing a whole lot of nothin' because this is the last weekend that is possible for awhile.
See ya'll on Monday!
Love to all,
Marcy
