Saint Mary School Weekly Newsletter

A Note from Mrs. O'Rourke
Dear SMS Families,
As we complete week 3 of Distance Learning and embark on a two-week staycation, please take time to relax, spend quality time with your family, and pray. We need to pray for a miracle, one that will bring either a remedy for this virus or take it completely away. If our prayers work, all our other prayers will be answered.
Next week we begin Holy Week when we Catholics remember Jesus Christ, who suffered for all of us. While it is a somber time, it is also a time of reflection and a time to seek the strength of Christ. We need his strength now more than we ever have as a community, a country, and a world. God is always with us, and during times like this, I am grateful to be in a Catholic school filled with faith and hope. Please join me in flaming the fires of hope, faith, and belief of miracles. No one ever believed Jesus would rise from the dead, but he did!
Here is a prayer for Inner Peace and Strength for you and your family:
O Lord,
Your life in me brings stillness to my turmoil.
Your life in me brings clarity to my confusion.
Your life in me brings wisdom to my worry.
Your life in me brings contentment to my striving.
Your life in me brings gentleness to my anger.
Your life in me brings patience to my panic.
Your life in me brings hope to my suffering.
Your life in me brings faith to my frustration.
Your life in me brings such heavenly treasure into my heart
And enables me to navigate a peaceful path.
In you I find strength for my journey.
Amen
Blessings, peace, and wellness, Anna
