Lakeview Elementary - We Know Every Child by Name & by Need
September 8, 2017
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to support our local food banks and the relief effort for Hurricane Harvey. Our Lakeview community is generous and we are appreciative for everything you do.
Week 2 of school was just as great as week 1. It hardly feels that we had a summer break at all as our students jumped right back into learning. We are having fun getting to know our new Kindergarten friends. They are a bright and cheerful group who are excited to be in school!
Notes from the Counselor - Mrs. Lowe
Small Group Survey
Mrs. Lowe will be holding small group counseling sessions once a week for 6 weeks throughout the school year. If you are interested in having your child participate in one of these groups, please mark your choice(s) below. This information will be helpful in setting up groups throughout the school year. Once I have placed your child in a group, I will contact you with the details of the group meetings.

Learner Qualities in the "Real World"
We want to hear from you!
We are always looking for ways we can bring in relevant lessons to our students. Each month we focus on a Lakeview Learner Quality - for September we are looking at the importance of reflection. If you reflect in your everyday lives or in your careers, please click HERE and enter a description of how you reflect and why it is important. We will share your replies with our teachers so they can in turn share them with our students. Please include your name and your profession in your email. We can't wait to read them!

2.Do not post pictures or information of children who are not yours. Privacy is important so do not post pictures or information about other students without parent permission.
3. If you have a question regarding events or information regarding Lakeview, your best bet is to always email your child's teacher or call the front office.
4. If you are unhappy with a situation or would like to share a concern, please always email your child's teacher or contact our front office.
5. Finally, stay positive. No one benefits when community members disagree on line.
