The Leopard Tale
May 22, 2020
Principal's Points
Andre’ Parents,
It is hard to believe that we have reached our final week of school. I know this is not the way any of us would have predicted the end of our Super Hero journey. I am so proud of our leopards and how hard they have worked to complete the fourth quarter of school. This next week, please expect a phone call from your child’s homeroom teacher to confirm summer school decisions. Your teacher will also share summer school program confirmation, Schoology login information, assigned summer school teachers, hotline information for students registered for Camp Elevate, and summer school materials and technology curbside pickup on June 2nd and June 4th.

Get Moving!
Hello Leopards,
I hope you are continuing to give your best efforts during such trying times.
With #Dedication #Motivation #Perseverance #communityinvolvement , we can combine our superpowers and defeat any villain that comes our way☺️.
Just a few tips/suggestions
Can be done in your backyard, living room area, or any family designated areas
Don’t have a fitness mat- use a towel
Don’t have weights- get a gallon or jug and fill with water
Don’t have tires- assembly your two towels in two circles on the floor
Make sure to lift feet as so towels don’t move
Remember to consume room temperature water if needed. This allows the negative toxins to continue and flow out instead of going into shock with cold water.
Most of all, HAVE FUN, and remember to continue WASHING HANDS and practicing SOCIAL DISTANCING!
Spanish Lab Fun
¡Hola amigos!
For Spanish class, we are learning about places in the community. If you can please guide your student to repeat after me, thank you!

Andre' Art in Action
Dear Andre’ Parents and Leopards,
I hope you have been enjoying art time with your kids!
This week try: CREATIVE CAREERS
Try to research online Careers in Art or other creative fields.
Find out the education level required to succeed
*WRITER: write a creative fictional story and include
who, what, when, where, why!
(Think… day/night, future/past, alien/earth, underwater/outer-space)
*CHEF: Get in the kitchen and create with food WITHOUT a recipe!
(Yummy accidents will make your family happy!)
*ARCHITECT: Build a home out of sticks or found objects!
*ACTOR: Create and act in a play for your family!
Parents enjoy watching your children create, and don’t stress…art
should be FUN! Stay healthy and safe Andre’ Leopards!
Love, Ms. Selmser

2020-2021 School Supply Order Form
PTO
PTO Families,
As the 2019-2020 school year comes to an end, the Andre' PTO would like to thank you all for your continued support. From joining the PTO, participating in spirit nights, supporting our fundraisers, and volunteering your time at our events, you made a difference! With your efforts over the last two years, we were able to purchase new playground equipment and a shade over the dome. In addition, the PTO was able to provide every teacher a grant to order supplies for their classrooms. Several teachers chose flexible seating for our students! By joining the PTO, we were able to host Holiday Parties and provide funding for buses needed for field trips. With your support, our children and teachers will continue to benefit. The PTO would like to thank you again! We look forward to working with you during the 2020-2021 school year. Reach out to your neighbors and grandparents; everyone in the community is welcome to join! Together we can do amazing things!
