The government in Egypt is Republic. The main leaders are Abdel Fattah el-sisi he is the President and Sheriff Ismail and he is the Acting Prime Minister. The leaders are chosen by the citizens they vote for the president.

Their religions are Muslim 90% and Christian 10%. What they do for fun is play sports they mostly eat at home and listen to the same music we listen to. Their major holidays are Coptic Christmas day, Coptic Easter, Labor day. They eat wheat bread, barley and olive oil. The men wear loincloth or short kilt shirt and women wear straight dresses one or two straps.

One of the main events that happened in Egypt Is when the Hieroglyphic script was developed in 3100 BC. It was the first script. Another main event that happened is the first stone pyramid was built in 2700 BC.
