Tuesday: B Day. PLC's in the Lighthouse Lounge. Counseling Lessons Begin. Sign up for Early Release PD on Frontline.
Wednesday: NO LETTER Day. Early Dismissal @ 1:10pm. LEADERSHIP DAY @ ZE! PD @ ZE from 1:15-4:00 p.m. Grade Level Mtg. 4-5 p.m.
Thursday: C Day. Admin Council 9:15-11:00am.
Friday: D Day. (Dr. Sladek @ CE). Spirit Wear Day!
Professional Development
- Just a friendly reminder to please fill in all boxes/areas when submitting a PD request on Frontline. Please include all registration fees and sub fees. A sub for 1 full day costs $85. If there is not a registration fee, please notify Meagan Thate. If you have any questions on how to complete a PD request, please ask Meagan Thate for assistance.
Policy Update:
A new policy is posted in the lounge bulletin board. The policy is often referred to as the "whistleblower law," Senate Bill 1007 (2018) established certain protections for public employee speech. Pursuant to Senate Bill 1007, every public employer in Missouri must post a copy of § 105.005, RSMo.
Diagnostic Reading Assessment Tip:
Remember, fluency is just one component of the DRA. Use your professional judgement to decide if students should continue and complete the comprehension section.

- their name,
- homeroom teacher,
and on the back
- their tribe leader's name!

What to expect in PLC's for the month of Sept:
Morning Movers CLUB - Exciting Opportunity!
Mrs. Haberkorn would like to start a Morning Movers "club".
The purpose of this "club" is to have time to move and get energy out for STUDENTS prior to school starting.
M-W-F for Kinder, 1st and 2nd
and
T-R for 3rd, 4th, and 5th
1-4 students per class
*We could possibly switch at quarter.
An announcement will be made at 8:30 each morning for the Morning Movers to head to the gym and then Ms Haberkorn would dismiss them back at 8:40am.

It is easy to solely criticize. It is hard to mentor.
But mentorship is not without criticism, yet it is meant to grow a person, not diminish them. Including mentorship of yourself.
