June 6, 2018

Dear Mustangs,

I wish each of you a wonderful summer! Be safe as you travel and definitely keep up the reading with your children!! Develop a schedule or plan that embraces exercise, outdoor play, and, yes, that special reading and math fact practice time. Encourage your child to journal about their summer adventures!! The skills they learn in school are applicable to real life so let's keep them practicing. Thank you for this support!

Please add the following dates to your calendars for 2018-2019:

Thursday, August 9 -- 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or 2:00-6:00 p.m. Class Assignment Day

Thursday, August 16 -- 6:00-7:00 p.m. Welcome Back Night!!

Tuesday, August 21 -- 1st Day of School for Students!!

Grade level orientation dates will be announced later. Please encourage all new neighbors to come and register their children, kindergarten through fifth, as the number of students determines the number of teachers. We want all staff in place and ready for our wonderful Mustangs!

Our summer office hours will be Mondays through Thursdays, 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions!

Again, have a WONDERFUL summer!

Yours truly,

Jan Fickling, Principal
